I photographed and captured video of Miron during the Vermont Super 8, an epic gravel race that winds its way through the entire state of Vermont in a figure-eight pattern. Miron won the challenging 655-mile race in an impressive 4 days, 2 hours, and 15 minutes, conquering approximately 46,000 feet of elevation gain.
Throughout the race, Miron encountered several mechanical issues, each of which I meticulously documented to weave a compelling narrative. The tally of mechanical challenges included dealing with 2 wheels, 2 tires, 5 flats, and 1 derailleur.
Beyond the thrill of the race, Miron and I embarked on this journey with a noble cause—to raise funds for a Vermont Bike shop that had suffered significant inventory loss due to the summer floods. If you're inclined to support, donations are still welcome: https://www.gofundme.com/f/flood-relief-for-vermont-bicycle-shop
